Polish Sausage the way my Dad made it!



2 pounds of fresh Polish Sausage rings
Place in cooking pot of cold water, preferably a Dutch oven pot on stove.
Bring to boil on medium-high heat, skimming off any foam.
Once boiling, simmer for 45 minutes on low heat, skimming off any foam.

Remove from pot and slice into pieces.
Place on a metal rack or tin foil on a shallow baking sheet.
Heat oven to 5oo degrees. Cook sausage on for 20 minutes, browning on each side.

Delicious with sauerkraut!
